Bummer for Star Racing Yamaha’s Max Anstie, who is out for the rest of the Supercross season after suffering a broken fibula in a massive crash during the first 250SX qualifying session at Birmingham Supercross.
Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing’s Max Anstie went down hard today in Birmingham, Alabama, casing a quad attempt in a rhythm section. The crash launched him feet-first into the next jump, and he immediately clutched his leg in pain. The session was red-flagged as medical staff attended to Anstie, who was carted off the track by the Alpinestars medical team.
Team Update:
“Unfortunately, Max Anstie will be sidelined from tonight’s Birmingham Supercross with a broken leg from a crash in qualifying. He will undergo further evaluation, with an update to follow at a later date.”
