2024 250 West Champion RJ Hampshire was unable to prepare in time to defend his title in the 2025 season, forcing him to switch to the 250 East Coast. During qualifying at Anaheim 1, he addressed Levi Kitchen’s recent move to the East Coast due to illness, saying, ‘I kinda figured that was coming,’ and noting that rumors of Levi’s switch had been circulating for weeks.
