Last night’s FIM World Supercross Championship opener in Vancouver was a challenging test for Ken Roczen. Facing a tricky track filled with deep ruts and jagged rocks, Roczen showcased his skill by claiming P1 in Super Pole and winning Race 1. However, he struggled in Race 2, finishing 10th after losing control over the rocky terrain.
Undeterred, Roczen rebounded with P2 finishes in both Race 3 and the Super Final. Reflecting on the competition, particularly with Eli Tomac, he noted, “It was a rollercoaster of a night. The track was unforgiving, but that’s part of the challenge.” Looking ahead to Perth, Roczen expressed eagerness to refine his strategy: “We’ve got work to do, but I’m excited to come back stronger.”

The track was really rutty and super rocky which is a crazy combination in SX. ๐
Was able to click of P1 for Super Pole
Race 1: after battling in the first couple of laps, i was able to move to P1 and finished there as well.
Race 2: rough first turn on the start so i was way back. I made my way into second and high sided over some rocks on a take off and threw it away. I ended up 10th or so i believe.
Race 3: P2
Super Final P2
I am not as good as Eli right now but itโs a great opportunity for me to learn and improve myself over the next few weeks. I am excited to put in some work with the team and personally as well to be a step further coming into Perth.
