With Ricky Carmichael on vacation, Ryan Villopoto is joined by 2010 Supercross 250 West Champion Jake Weimer to break down the action from Pala. They cover Jett Lawrence’s dominant win and his first outdoor showdown with Eli Tomac, Chase Sexton’s brutal crash, Haiden Deegan’s commanding performance at his home track, Jorge Prado’s U.S. Motocross debut, the stacked 250 class, and what to expect heading into Hangtown.
Villopoto also revealed on the Title 24 podcast that there’s a rumor circulating about Chase Sexton possibly suffering a shoulder injury from his crash at Fox Raceway. After going down without goggles, it’s believed he may have injured his left shoulder and could be dealing with a possible concussion. According to Villopoto, the current plan is for Sexton to take some time off and return at Round 6—the RedBud National—on July 5th.
