Taddy Blazusiak has officially terminated his contract with Stark Future, effective January 15, 2025. The announcement follows an incident at the German GP, which Blazusiak attributed to an unpredictable motorcycle reaction. He expressed regret over the event and confirmed his withdrawal from upcoming races.
Blazusiak joined Stark Future in November 2023 to compete in SuperEnduro and EnduroCross on the electric Stark Varg. However, challenges arose, including the FIM’s decision to ban electric bikes from the SuperEnduro opener, and the German GP incident became a tipping point.Stark Future, recently securing a €25 million expansion deal, has yet to comment on Blazusiak’s departure. This development raises questions about the future of electric motorcycles in competitive racing and Blazusiak’s next moves.
What happened to Taddy at GermanGP – One notable absentee that night was Taddy Blazusiak. The Polish legend hadn’t looked like himself that season and was unhappy with the restrictions imposed on the Stark Varg bikes by the FIM. Taddy retired from Round 1 during the races, but at GermanGP Round 2, he packed up his kit and went home after qualifying.
