Tomac Limps to Supercross Title, Can Eli’s Knee Endure the Outdoors?

    By DirtbikeLoverMay 2, 2022Updated:May 2, 2022No Comments1 Min Read

Eli Tomac clinched 2022 450 Supercross title despite a knee injury, but with many of his outdoor rivals all rested and testing, does he have enough in the tank to contest for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship in 2022?

Eli Tomac revealed he has been riding with a bad knee injury sustained in Atlanta that accounted for his recent off the podium results, with Tomac wrapping up the title at home in Denver despite dropping from first to sixth.

It remains to be seen how this injury will affect Eli Tomac in the upcoming 2022 Pro Motocross Season, but Tomac has won the most prestigious title in the US already this season and, just as he has in the last couple of weeks, will no doubt make the right call when deciding if he can race the outdoors, especially if he is planning on signing a contract to defend his supercross title in 2023.
