Tomac on Anaheim 2 – “So Thankful to Walk Away From This One”

    By DirtbikeLoverJanuary 29, 2023No Comments1 Min Read

Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing’s Eli Tomac is lucky to escape serious injury from the crash in the third and final race last night at Anaheim 2.

In the final race, the leader with 450 points crashed during a battle with Cooper Webb. He went down hard after going off course on the first three jumps and landing on Tuff Blox. Despite remounting, Tomac only managed to regain 13th place, resulting in an overall 6th place finish for the night.

    Tomac posted on IG post:

“Well I’ll start off by saying I’m Ok and will be just fine for next weekend! So thankful to walk and ride away from this one unscathed. I jumped the triple “on” to the table top multiple times throughout the day from the second and third rut. With Cooper on the inside I think my instincts to not jump towards him caused my mistake to drift left off the ramp. Obviously lucky for this to happen in the triple crown format and salvage 6th overall on the night.”
