Carson Mumford’s season came to a painful end at the Texas SuperMotocross event after a serious crash during practice. The Fire Power Honda rider experienced a “stupid crash” that resulted in a compound fracture to his right leg. Mumford expressed his frustration on social media, stating, “Man, where do I even start? I’ve been riding so dang good lately; this is seriously heart crushing.” He described the track as “really weirdly built,” acknowledging that not every track suits every rider.
Following the crash, Mumford was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery to address the injury. He remains hopeful for a quick recovery, stating, “I’m hoping for the best and to get out of the hospital in a few days.”
