Colt Nichols of the Pipes Motorsport Group was injured during Race 1 of the WSX GP. The incident occurred when Dean Wilson went down in the rhythm section. Nichols, attempting to avoid Wilson, made contact with the rear wheel of Wilson’s bike. This contact caused Nichols to go over the handlebars, leading to a severe crash where his own bike struck him hard.
Following the crash, Nichols was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for assessment. The WSX community has extended their support, wishing Colt a speedy and complete recovery.
