The initial track action took place at a dry but windy Empower Field at Mile High. Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence and Hunter Lawrence were the focal point of the press activities and are featured prominently in this video from the pre-race events. Other riders like Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Malcolm Stewart, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Levi Kitchen, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s RJ Hampshire, and Honda HRC’s Jo Shimoda are also highlighted. During the press day, riders only navigated half of the track, which is customary.
