Under immense pressure from Jorge Prado, Jeffrey Herlings, while leading the race in Germany’s first moto, suffered a severe crash. Prado had been eagerly awaiting Herlings to make a mistake, and it finally happened when Herlings lost control on a rough section of the track, catapulting over the handlebars in a brutal manner. This unfortunate incident allowed Prado to secure the victory. Despite being in great pain and indicating a possible broken collarbone, Herlings bravely remounted his bike and persevered to complete the race, although he cruised through the last two laps. His determination led him to earn a single point as he crossed the finish line. Nevertheless, Prado now holds a commanding lead of nearly 50 points, making the championship his to lose.
Oh man Herlings just had a big one from the lead in Germany with Prado on him. Such a weird spot to crash so hard pic.twitter.com/LhnHjsCT7z
