Honda HRC Jett Lawrence thwarted Hunter Lawrence’s attempt to secure victory in his first 450 debut ride. Despite Hunter leading the entire moto, Jett executed a hard block pass in the last turn, taking advantage of Hunter leaving the door open—perhaps Hunter hadn’t anticipated Jett making such a move!
In the earlier race, Jett had claimed victory over Hunter. However, in the final moments of the second race, their positions reversed when Roczen, attempting to pass Jett, washed out his front wheel. This set the stage for Jett’s dramatic last-turn move.
Jett’s strong desire to win is now evident, as he even challenged his own brother. Despite the competitive maneuver, both Jett and Hunter found humor in the situation afterward. Jett had the last laugh in that moto—leaving the question of whether Hunter will seek revenge in the future.
