A crazy crash occurred yesterday at the Hangtown National. Matti Jorgensen overjumped a blind jump and landed directly into a BarX Suzuki mechanic. According to BarX Suzuki update, the mechanic, named Tyler Mickelson, sustained two broken legs.

BarX Suzuki Update on Tyler
One of our own had some issues at the track… our good buddy @thelifeof_tyler , crew chief for the @barxsuzuki team, was walking up the backside of the”big Moe” at @hangtownmotocross and a rider jumped completely off of the track and directly into Tyler.
This resulted in both legs being broken, thankfully nothing more serious than that. (Scroll to see video)
It’s a grind to do what these guys do and be at the races every weekend, and with both legs broken, Tyler isn’t going to be able to do much at the track for a while!
We need to do right as the moto community and come together to raise money for Tyler’s medical expenses and his loss of work for an unknown amount of time.
