Daytona Beach, Florida. Round 9 of the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross season is set to be an exciting one as Jason Anderson and Eli Tomac are separated by only 6-points. Additionally, Garrett Marchbanks is making his debut in the 450 class for a one-race stint while the 250 West division is taking a break.
In the 250 division, the field has unfortunately been damaged at the opening two rounds with Jett Reynolds getting hurt at the opener, Levi Kitchen and Austin Forkner getting hurt at Round 2 and Jeremy Martin getting hurt while training on Wednesday before Daytona. RJ Hampshire also took a hard slam last Saturday in Arlington, but, somehow, he’s back riding again and plans to lineup at Daytona.
