Dean Wilson once again proved his class on and off the track, claiming a dominant victory in the second round of the Australian Supercross Championship. The Scotsman went 1-1 for the second consecutive round, dedicating the win to his mother, who tragically passed away just hours before the race.
Having already witnessed both parents bravely battle cancer, Wilson channeled his grief into a performance that underlined his professionalism and resilience. There were no celebrations at the finish line — instead, Wilson quietly rejoined his partner, child, and team, clearly carrying the weight of personal loss.
Now unbeaten across the opening four motos (1-1-1-1), Wilson stands as the clear championship favourite heading into round three.
