Justin Cooper Injury Update After Brutal Crash at High Point!

    By DirtbikeLoverJune 18, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing Justin Cooper was forced to withdraw from the fourth round of the Pro Motocross Championship at High Point on Saturday due to a severe crash during qualifying. In the roller section, Cooper fell heavily and sustained a brutal blow to his chest and neck region. He was promptly taken to the nearby hospital, preventing him from participating in the motos. Prior to the incident, Cooper held the second position in the 250 Class championship. Fortunately, he reassured his well-being and announced via social media that he was able to return home today.

Justin Cooper – “The past 24 hours have been pretty scary,” he wrote. “As most know, I crashed yesterday in the 2nd round of qualifying. My chest and neck got crushed by the handlebars. My throat started to close up in the Alpinestar medical unit and I was immediately transported to the nearest hospital. I spent the night there and am headed back home to Florida now to start my recovery. I really appreciate all of the messages and support. Also a special thank you to my in-laws for getting Jillian to me asap yesterday and for waiting around on me to get discharged so that we could fly home today”
