The 2025 SuperMotocross season came to a tough end for Chase Sexton at the Las Vegas finale. The Red Bull KTM rider crashed in the final 450SMX moto and was forced to withdraw with a DNF.
Sexton, who has been battling a nagging shoulder issue since his Ironman crash earlier this season, shared an update with fans following the race.
“Just wanted to give everyone an update and appreciate everyone checking in on me ❤️ my shoulder is very weak so I will be getting it checked this upcoming week and a mild concussion. Not the way I was expecting to end this year but I trust gods plan always 🫶🏻” Sexton wrote.
The timing of the injuries is especially disappointing as both Sexton and Haiden Deegan will be sidelined and unable to represent Team USA at the upcoming Motocross of Nations.
