By 2001 Ricky Carmichael had already began his dominance in the Pro Motocross scene. Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki and Ricky Carmichael wanted to win a Supercross Championship. They knew the bike had to get better and their main rival would be the Supercross King Jeremy McGrath.

This is a short film based around Ricky’s KX250, his drive for greatness, and moments in time that may have never been talked about until now. Ricky Carmichael’s Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki has been sitting in storage for over 20 years and we pulled it out to go down memory lane. Former Kawasaki Team Manager Bruce Stjernstrom sat down with Motocross Action to walk us through the details of how the team customized the bike, the unique challenges they faced, the meetings to prepare, the era of two stroke racing and the legacy of a rider that will forever be labeled The Greatest Of All Time.
