Jo Shimoda Update Following Anaheim 3 Scary Crash

    adminBy adminFebruary 14, 2022Updated:February 14, 2022No Comments1 Min Read

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki confirmed that Jo Shimoda didn’t suffer any serious injuries following a big crash on the final lap of his 250SX heat race on Saturday at Anaheim 3.

“Jo had made some real progress building on his Glendale podium last week. He qualified second, his best so far. It was disappointing to see him crash when he was doing so well. I know he was frustrated afterwards too. Fortunately, after having some scans done at the hospital there was no serious injury and at this point we’re confident we’ll see a fast and determined Jo back in six weeks at Seattle,” said team manager Iain Southwell.

Shimoda did not line up for the main event on Saturday. The 250SX West Region will go on break until round 12 when the series returns to Seattle.
