It was a challenging evening for the entire Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team in Nashville. West Region points leader Levi Kitchen experienced a hard fall right after the start of the Showdown, colliding with his teammate Cameron McAdoo.
Kitchen stayed on the ground, and for a moment, it seemed like he might not return to the bike. However, recognizing that the title was at stake, Kitchen re-mounted and mounted a remarkable charge from last place to 14th.
The Chef posted a picture of himself after the race in a hospital bed awaiting further evaluations. He feels that he may have broken some ribs in the crash.
