Nashville 450 Heat One, Cooper Webb began with high energy and made an aggressive move early on Tomac, but unfortunately went wide in the next turn and crashed. Adam Cianciarulo then rode heavily into Webb. Despite trying to get up, Webb’s legs gave way, and he was taken off in a medical vehicle while Tomac won the heat. Unfortunately, Webb’s injuries might prevent him from continuing his pursuit of the title. Cianciarulo approached Webb to express his regret and offer an apology, even though the situation was an unfortunate one where he could not have avoided contact.
