Video: Talviku Huge Larocco’s Leap Crash MXoN & Injury Update

    adminBy adminSeptember 27, 2022Updated:September 27, 2022No Comments2 Mins Read

Jörgen-Matthias Talviku had a gnarly crash at MXoN this weekend when he went for Larocco’s leap at Red Bud on Saturday for team Estonia, came up short and unfortunately broke his femur. A tough blow for a talented young rider but Talviku is staying positive.

Hello all fans, supporters and friends! Unfortunately I had a crash in RedBud and broke my femur. Soon surgery and then rehab!

First of all I would like to congratulate Team Estonia for great job all weekend long! Harri and Tanel did very well and I’m glad I had chance to have such team mates!

For me it was already a huge achievement that they managed to get us to A-finale from such a difficult situation. I feel really sorry for all the team members, sponsors and fans. This sport is sometimes so emotional and difficult to describe my feelings. I can’t take time back and only thing I can do is to learn from mistakes, rehab and come back stronger, which is exactly what I am going to do.
Every time I go on a track I give my very best, but I should also keep in my mind that MXON is team event!

So thank you very much Harri, Tanel and Martin for all the hard work! Our sponsors and fans, everyone around us! Next year we are back and stronger than ever! Thank You for your messages. I really appreciate every single one! 👊
