    Press Release:

With just three weeks until the Monster Energy Motocross of Nations heads to USA on the 24th and 25th September. Team Manager Mark Chamberlain, in conjunction with the ACU Motocross Committee is pleased to announce that the three riders selected to represent Great Britain will be Dean Wilson (MXGP), Max Anstie (MX2) and Tommy Searle (MX Open). Team GB will be heading to the USA and looking to continue their run of podium finishes at the past four events.

The MXGP spot will see Dean Wilson make his return to Team GB at the MXON after previously contesting the event on British soil at
Matterley Basin in 2017, joining him will be the two other members of Team GB that day who made it onto the podium in third.

Max Anstie was the outstanding rider of the Motocross of Nations that day, winning both of his races as the selected MXGP rider for the team. With that still very much in his and the team’s mind he’ll be going all out to be the best MX2 rider at Red Bud and play his part to give Team GB another fighting chance for victory.

This year Tommy Searle will be lining up in the MX Open class on his Honda. Tommy heads into the 2022 event as Team GB’s highest placed British Championship rider (Currently Leading the MX1 domestic series) and with his wealth of experience racing the event will be looking to put Team GB the MXoN Podium again.

With three strong riders, Team Manager Mark Chamberlain commented; “As always it’s a tough decision deciding the Team line up for the Motocross of Nations but I honestly believe in my selection.

This line up were the first of the current crop of British Riders to make it onto the podium and since we have had a great run over the past few years. I’ve got no doubt they will give it their all for the travelling British fans as well as everyone watching at home. They are all experienced in this event as well as the Red Bud track, so I feel it’s the right selection and want everyone to get behind the boys.”
