Vialle and Anstie – The Only Riders Coming Off Injury For Detroit SX!

    By DirtbikeLoverJanuary 30, 2024No Comments3 Mins Read

Next weekend marks the commencement of the 250SX East Coast at Round 5 of the Detroit Supercross, and the anticipation is high with a stacked field of competitors. However, several riders are making comebacks from injuries, some of which were previously undisclosed. Here’s what we know so far:

According to sources such as Vital MX and Steve Matthes, Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha riders are facing challenges. Nick Romano is dealing with a lingering shoulder injury from a pre-season crash, and Enzo Lopes is grappling with numbness in his hand. Haiden Deegan sustained a wrist injury in the pre-season but has recently resumed riding. Michael Mosiman, the newest addition to the Star team, is uncertain for his Detroit debut due to a back issue. On the other hand, Daxton Bennick, the rookie, had a collision with a car while riding his bicycle but is in good shape and performing at his best. Stilez Robertson is out of SX Season due broken wrist in pre-season and Mosiman is his replacement.

Honda HRC rider Chance Hymas is in the process of recovering from an ACL injury, and it remains unclear if he has fully healed. Over at Pro Circuit Kawasaki, Austin Forkner experienced a late start in the pre-season due to a knee injury, while Cameron McAdoo’s training was delayed after a pre-season crash. Seth Hammaker also faced a delayed start in training due to injury recovery.

ClubMX Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin is making a return, but he is not at 100% fitness yet as he continues to recover from an arm injury sustained back in Hangtown National last year.

Notably, the only riders entering the 250SX East Season off injury are Tom Vialle and Max Anstie. The racing community eagerly awaits their performance as they make their comeback in Detroit.
